This thread is for requesting access to the Wisenuts Den. The den is a private room that is only visible to those who are given permission. It's essentially another tier of the Rants forum, solely for the wisest members among us. I've added a basic number of starting members to get it started. If you want access to the Wisenuts Den, you have to reply to this post and your application will be considered by the whole (all members of the den will vote). You don't get any prizes or goodies for joining the Den, it's simply a place to hangout that is out of the eyes of everyone.

The reason this extra section was created, is because most now believe rants has turned into simply a place to spam with the occaisonal intelligent rant. SG has always been soft on spam because for most part, it's never harmed anyone here and rarely has it reached a level of patheticness displayed on other forums. The den is for ranting, the same as rants, but it carries the rule that NO SPAM be posted unless it is directly related to the topic.

Can I join? I do spam quite a lot sometimes, but I know fully well where and when to, and vice-versa, as well as the fact that this would not be the place. I can rant intelligently sometimes, and think that a place where such threads would not be spammed to death would be quite useful and appropriate, and would therefore not condemn the threads of others to such a fate if I was given access.

I know that the word 'invisible' was used, but could it at least be visible to people in it?

So the wisenuts section cannot be found, except by those who already know where it is?
