well, this isnt freespace so i'll put this here.

acording to the ever so wonderful fs2netd, wing commander saga has multiplayer.

but, when i start up the game, it wont let me even view my multi pilot "bosch". it lets me view multi pilots when the last pilot i played with in freespace was a multiplayer one, but thats all. even on a regular fs2 build. is it missing something crucial? or did i just miss some patch?

(cant go to HLP and comment on this because i share a computer and an e-mail address with takashi, and hes IP banned...)

WCS doesn't have working multiplayer. It's coming in a later patch from what I understand.

What I find odd is not that WCS is on the list (The have a FS2NetD process running in order for them to test their missions) but that SoL isn't.

Well you have to understand that there's a certain amount of gruesome curiosity about that from everyone who has ever encountered him.

It's the mods choice to be listed on the site or not (ie, it doesn't automatically list the running server daemons). When SoL has something public for people to mess with then I'm sure that they would want it listed. For now it's still really just a dev thing though, which means they don't really need it accessible on the FS2NetD site.

I figured it was something like that.

I guess WCS viewed it as a chance for advertising while SoL viewed it as a chance for annoying questions.
