I've been thinking of implementing a subscription based MOD-Database, so basically anyone wanting to download will have to subscribe, but nothing else will change other than that. Im not talking about waiting or file queues. The reason for this is mainly because of "spammers" who aren't interested in anything except spamming the downloads. With a user-base, I'll be able to keep track of things better and see that it gets its usage. What do you think?

Anything you think would be best? Maybe an automated database, with scripted access, or a "password protected" one? hmm.

Go for it - if it'll cut bandwidth wastage, it rocks :)
