So, I have a DVD player that doesn't have any 3.5mm sockets for earphones, but it does have a Audio Out (Coaxial) - I can't seem to find a jack though. I can find 3.5mm -> Coaxial but not the other way around. I need to be able to plugin the earphones.. Any suggestions or stuff I've overlooked?

Mating cable? Is that a British term?

No, but it is a delightfully innuendo-tastic one.

get a 3.5mm genderbender... most electronic stores will have them... failing that, just splice together two wires

Stop watching porn? Then you won't need headphones just to watch a DVD.

Smart.
Though I need them for my grandmothers DVD, because she has a phobia about turning the TV up incase of the neighbours complaining.
