Food where you live

I'm hungry, so food's on my mind. A short walk from my dorm is a cafateria where I've only eaten 2 or 3 times 'cuz the food there is mediocre. Under this cafateria however is a nice little food court, offering pasta, hamburgers, wraps, ice creams, and Chick-Fil-A (which is gross, but good in a pinch). There's also a little convenience store next to the food court where I sometimes buy hot pockets and microwaveable pizzas. So what do you lot have?[/i]

About 1 mile away there's a pub, chinese takeaway, small overpriced restaurant, and chippy. I live in the sticks, though..... nicest place I've had food is Chinatown in Philadelphia, I think. Dim sum kicks arse.

I'm in London, so the variety of food stores around me is pretty high in volume, but varies greatly in quality. There's a good Indian and Chinese near me, but the local Italian and Greek Restaraunts are pretty ropey.

In the local vicinity - an Ashoka Indian restaurant, Indian takeaway, McDonalds, KFC. Further afield are several chippies in an 8-mile radius, along with a couple of Chinese. Perfect Pizza in Giffnock used to deliver here, but not anymore.

I'd go into Glasgow city centre for a real meal out anyway. Mmm, Bella Italia!

Across the street from where I live there are about one million restaurants, but my meals on-campus are already payed for and the food is pretty good, so I almost never eat over there.

Yup, the Greek place near me actually got shut down for a while, partly because of complaints, and partly because someone walked in with a shotgun and shot a rival gang member. It's under new management now, but I don't see it hanging round for long.
