Sectorgame

Well, it's that time again. Our host is requesting payment for this year. Actually the payment is overdue by one week, but according to the register it's not due until March! We need to raise a total of $120 (about £60). So if you can donate anything, even $1 would be great. The donation button is on the forum index page. You may have noticed it. Having to pay £120 ($240) per year for both servers isn't much in the grand scheme of things but I desperately need to hold onto my money right now.

I've actually been considering doing some cleaning up here for a long time now, but I just don't have the time to build a new website or really revise the current websites. And then, theres not much point anymore. I guess most of the support now will go into projects. It's still possible I'll update F2S at some point, or at least compress it slightly and polish it up - but I have no idea when I'll get the time. I've also thought about changing the forum software, but argh, even that's a lot of work. I might reinstall everything just to clear up security leaks. It's fine as it is but the spam bots are all over the place. And the site is a mess, haha.

Sectorgame is now a few days away from being suspended, so... Hmm Here's what I'm going to do. SG has more space/bandwidth than it had before, so it looks like I'm going to be closing Sectorfiles. Instead, I'll transfer all the stuff on Sectorfiles onto the SG server.

Money is much tighter now than it was last time when I donated... If I have any after buying books, and the rest of my expenses, Id donate.
