Well, I wasn't that interested in this tournament, but I did catch the final day of play and have to say - Some really nice fights towards the end, though the usual anti-climax final. Nice prizes anyway, and as always it's fun to see Oveur. Poor Imperial Apoc... I felt for it.

I dont like the ridiculous overuse of nos and rep drones... 20 Heavy armor maintenance drones can render a battleship invulnerable to several dreads shooting it (thanks sisi for letting me see that on in person), and nos just becomes a game of 'who can fit the most'... It's no longer a competition of firepower, but one of pre known tactics. Everyone did the same thing, very little interesting fights, just a lot of things going asplodie.

And the not single-elimination format disappointed me because teams were getting to arrange to fight who they wanted and possibly still progress. It should be that if you lose, you're out. Make people fight their hardest every time.

I'd love to be able to enter that tournament, but I doubt they'd let us in.
