I am having a problem registering on Hard Light, and anyone with advice or is a HLP moderator or something could realy help me out.

Anyway I recently attempted to register on the HLP forums.

E-mail:[email protected]
Password:********
Confirm password:********

All was fine.
But I believe that I must have accidently inputted the WRONG email address by mistake, or made an error in typing it as I have not recieved an activation e-mail. How will I be able to log in under my common name?

Can somone please tell me how to solve this problem (without me having to create an account that is not under my normal name) or can somone who has POWER!!! on HLP please sort this out?

Erm, this has happened before with HLP. Activation e-mails sometimes go up in smoke.

I'm sure Kal or Goob will check this sooner or later...

check your hotmail junk/spam boxes? Hotmail likes to think everything that isnt is spam, and everything that is is real.

hotmail was blocked some time ago, i'd assume it still is. they want you to use a realaccount, its the easiest way to cut down spam.

also, if you screwed up and made the account with the wrong email, theres an email in nowhereland that is waiting for the confirmation link to be clicked. Same if you made an account with the right email with the wrong name, that email can no longer be registered

Seriously though, you're best bet is to get HLP to Email a non-Hotmail account, Hotmail is touchy, and, as Hippo points out, HLP might not send confirmation mails to Hotmail accounts, since a lot of Spambots and trolls use them.

Just create a new user name with a different Email address and PM someone like Sandwich or Fury and explain what happened. They might delete your old account and change your current name to the old one, but I'm not promising

I think I got there before they stopped using hotmail accounts.....

Goober, you sting me with your words. When ever have I done such a thing? how do I end up 'abuse'ing people? I am not evil or manipulative (all of the time), I just get snappy and annoyed when people insult me for pathetic reasons and similar stuffs. I am sorry if I have ever been horrible and done wrong before! I will get on my knees and beg! PLEASE!
