i think this would be a good idea due to common posts about composed music, and it would also give people a section to chat about what they're listening to and so on.

I've always wanted to do a music section, however the issue of copyright has always been a concern for me so that kind of section would be limited without being able to include popular music (though as I understand 30 second samples are allowed).

well i wasn't really thinking of a section for *trading* music, per se, i was thinking of a section more dedicated to discussing music intrests, cool new songs, compositions, etc. if they want to trade music, then they can do that seperately.

I'd be all for that, it's be nice to have a platform to exchange ideas and opinions

BTW, Is that 'Warriors of the Wind' I see being parodied in that animation at one point spkid?

I have a new piece of music that i will post in our new section if we get it up.

I have 10 or so I can throw up. Plus WIPs....

Edit: You know, if nothing else, the three of us should start collaborating on a song or two.

Heck! I got a program that can slice songs into 30 sec pieces fer you guys to listen to. trouble is, I'm not sure that phpBB supports embedded media players, unless those of us who have webspace could host the song, and\or put up a page with an embedded media player.
