Interesting Reading and Historical Parallels...

Somebody happened to post a link to this on GamePolitics in relation to Jack Thompson, and I happened to look at it. (I must admit surprise at the author, but hey, he's a decent guy in my book. You might recognize him yourself.)

A little analysis of the old-school of crusader against contraversial games. When they were crusading against games that required a character sheet and a pencil.

And bears a disturbing resemblence to the current crop of anti-gaming crusaders. If this lady isn't dead, pray she and Jack Thompson never meet.

Yeah, that was one woman who simply snapped under the strain of losing her son, I read that on GP as well.

I've been following and posting on GP for a while, not because I have ALL that much vested interest in the ESRB or American system, what with us already having one, but mainly because there is something about his attitude that I find infinitely revolting, I don't know what disgusts me more, his deliberate twisting of facts or the constant stream of playground insults. I swear one day he's going to call us 'Poo poo brains' or something...

I just get annoyed at Scapegoating and theres a hell of a lot of it going in regarding computer games in the US.

LoLs. :p

It's hard to think of a reply to it. I can only agree with said points and the blatently obvious that no one could miss except the tards that are crusading... =/
