So I sit down here and go "Hey, Trashman's released a ten-mission thingie, let's play it."

Ooooops.

Next thing I know my damn lasers won't even show up when I shoot them, there's broken crap everywhere in the missions, and I'm getting the AWOL and mission successful debrief at the same time. About the only good thing I can say is he's gotten better about spelling, but that ain't perfect either.

And so once more I must ask myself...how do people end up releasing s### like this? Do they just not bother testing it? Is it that friggin' hard to just play your own damn mission to see if it really works?

If I could possibly think up a more blunt and insulting way of putting it on a moment's notice I wouldn't be, but since I can't, yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.

Seriously I never even considered the possibility that he could be doing that as it was just so idiotic that it never crossed my mind.

All the backstory you really need is that Trashman had been saying previously that 5 Orions could beat a Sathanas and then later that he'd scripted a mission and proved that 1 Orion could beat a Sathanas if it jumped in behind it.

Trashman has discovered the wiki...checking now for damage...

Okay, so far he's messed with the statistics for all the GTVA destroyers and the Colossus, and the Veteran Comments for the Colossus and Athena.

EDIT: Trashman added fighter complement numbers, but happily ignoring the numbers available in the tech room descriptions and also right friggin' there got them wrong. Jesus Christ.

This is one thing I've always said when comparing the ole' Descent and Freespace modding community. The Freespace ones has LOADS of stuff, but tons and tons of it is unfinished. The Descent community has so few mods, yet near all of them are of the highest quality. I think though, that since it takes so much more study to mod D3 than it does FS, I guess that's a kind of the reason...
