Or Monday as the case may be; going climbing on a nice wee island called Gola (yeah, like the running shoes).

Let's hope it's not a washout. ;)

Not the rainforest in Sierra Leone? Or the town in Croatia?

Have fun.

It will rain, of course. These are the way these things go. la.

No origami required. Good bit of sleep though as I was pretty shattered after spending all of Friday night awake. We had a joint birthday party for three of us, lot of twister, drinking games and attempting to break into a room that my friend had locked himself out of.

Didn't get an awful lot of climbing done due to the weather but it was a lot of fun. :)

Instructions, if you please. :)

It's very simple;

1 - Take an empty cereal box.

2 - Pick it up with your teeth (hands cannot touch the ground).

3 - Then rip off a strip (about an inch height) from the top.

4 - Repeat until fade / dislocation of leg sockets (from having to try and do the splits).

I was quite good at it. Albeit any female will kick your arse at it, thanks to not having any knackers to worry about.

Ahhh, we just refer to it as the cardboard box game. I managed to get down to about 1cm from the floor being a skinny and somewhat flexible bugger. ;)

Ever tried table wrestling?

Nope.

Does it involve a table?

(you big bendy wierdo :p)

Basically you get your run of the mill, school type table. Yuo start from a sitting/kneeling position on top of it and attempt to climb under and back onto the top again without touching the floor. you can add tables together to make it harder or attempt to do it in faster times.

As climbers we revel in the chance to use domestic settings to practice our dark art.

N.B. Do not climb fire escapes at four in the morning using only ice axes. It scares the neighbours and makes them cranky.

Bendier than playdough? I can't can really bite at the moment because my whole mouth is very sore and teeth are very weak. So, not cornflake games for me.

There is a much better way to do it for guys that doesn't involve the splits position aldo, basically you throw your leg out behind you and crouch on your leading leg (the stronger one). Grab your leading leg around the ankle and bend over until you sniff earth. ;)

The box is very light Poay, you don't have to chomp down on it. :)
