He's been bothering me on IM just now. Trying to get nameplates to work and failing. So I get this

That happens all the time, and it's not limited to newbies either.

IMHO, very infrequently do people actually want advice. Most of the time they only want someone to reinforce their existing opinions/conclusions, whether they're correct or not. If that doesn't happen, they just ignore it.

Actually, Charismatic got the Perennial Noob title within the last month. I made it to match Cobra's Perpetual Noob title. The subtle differences in meaning fit their respective personalities, I think.
