Mission 21 error

In mission 21, "A game of TAG", after the mumbo jumbo with the Kappa 3 fighter and killing all shivan fighters, the game tells me AGAIN to kill Virgo Wing (4 fighters). But they never appear. I've patrolled the entire nebula and they never appear, yet the mission never ends and nothing happens.
Any idea what's happening?

It's a bug that has been fixed. Download a recent SCP build from the HLP forum.

It will be in RC4 or anything posted with the last couple of days.

"It will be..."
By 'it', you mean the fix or the bug?

The fix.

Thanks again, works wonders.
One funny thing I noticed. At mission 22, when you have a friendly fight with the stealth Pegasus wing, I played the mission so badly that even before the Moloch had jumped in, the Aquitaine was already complaining about it's hull being hit by the Moloch's main gun. Weird, huh.

That's a rather odd bug but I guess the FREDder involved assumed that the only way the Aquitaine would take damage was is the Moloch had arrived.
Which does rather beg the question, just what the hell were you doing out there?

Well I was unable to take down a single bomber and my wingmen were still flying on my wing, so both enemy bombers and fighters unleashed hell in the shape of cyclops against the Aquitaine.
All of this caused by speaking with my grandma over the phone while playing FS2.

Now I understand what Solid Snake meant when he claimed "There are no heroes in war"
I destroyed EACH of the tentacle-like beam cannons of the Sathanas, yet in next mission they are all back at 100% health! How am I supposed to save the Colossus with shivan engineers who fix their ships that fast?!
Seriously, is it some kind of bug that made a corrupt data cache or something? Some variables screwed up? Can I revert the campaign to the previous mission (like in the last mission of FS1 when you could "go back" if you started with little hull and missiles)? Or maybe edit save games?
Thanks in advance.

Are you playing the campaign or each mission from the tech room? Cause if you destroyed all 4 Sathanas beam cannons you should start the mission with none of them working.
In fact it shouldn't even let you proceed to the next mission if all the cannons are working.

Yup, campaign, single player.
It's like this:
- Took down all 4 beams.
- Sathanas jumps out.
- New Shivan Cruiser with escort jumps in. I get a new wing too.
- I almost destroy this new Cruiser but it escapes.
- Mission complete
In next mission:
- All four beams are operational.
- Terrible suffering because mission was designed to begin with some turrets down.
- Even with this, I was able to destroy again all 4 turrets, but the Colossus gets destroyed after the Sathanas explodes because of the explosion damage

That shouldn't have happened.
Can you download
this file and stick it in your mediavps\Data\Missions folder (assuming you have a mediavps folder you can create the others. If you don't have a mediavps folder use Freespace2\Data\Missions).
Restart the campaign and you should now be able to play from Bearbaiting again. If the same problem appears a second time I'll look into it.

If I put that file in that folder, the game crashes when I try to access the campaign room.
Although I was able to finish High Noon, the whole problem remains a mystery,

Once you've finished the campaign restart and try that file for me.
The problem was that you've completed more missions than are actually left in that campaign file so it was looking for mission 20 or something when there were 15 or so left.
