Glasgow was uite bonkers today, incidentally. One end of Sauchiehall street - bloke playing a digeridoo*. Other end; a very, very loud samba band.

Actually we were a colony, not just a dumping ground for convicts.

Only way Britain could stay in power was constant expansion. Now your just stagnating on your little island with no where to go...
