Every time i download a ship or weapons mod and install it correctly when i try to play it, on Freespace 2 or SCP it goes into an error message something like this:

Error: Something weapons/ships
error: expecting whatever found (whatever)

You're not using my 25th of April build are you? Cause I can see that causing you problems. (If you installed the big SCP torrent v1.5 you are using it.)

If so go to here and grab yourself an updated build. If you fancy trying some bleeding edge stuff this build is newer and has fancy envmapping.

I've got the same problem with Age of Wonders!
