Ooh, I just saw the Narnia movie, and it was awesome.
What'd you all think of it?

I was surprised at how acurate it was to the book. They did a good job with it.

Might catch it when it goes DVD, lest someone invites me out to goto movies.

I was impressed with the little homage to the beginning of the movie in the final battle...it's there in the book, too, but I didn't recognize it. For which I'm kicking myself.

An absolutely amazing film, and a wonderful adaptation of my most beloved childhood story. I'm planning on getting out to see it at least one more time.

I thought it was good, but there were some parts I was a bit disappointed in. For instance, the fight between Peter and Maugrim was a bit sudden, and not much of a fight so much as the accidental stabbing of a dog. Oh well, it was still good.
