Bought a poster from an ebay fella and didn't get it. I sent a mail chasing it and didn't get a response. Sent another and he got all stroppy saying it was my fault for not havin' recorded delivery (it was offerd but it's a poster in a tube for christ's sake). Had dealings before with no probs.
Is it worth trying again or shall I sod it and leave some choice feedback ?
I'm a bit pissed off at the minute (for other reasons) and that feedback button is lookin' mighty temptin'

Go on. Make it: "Don't buy from this guy; he's a ###."

Yep. Even if he did send the poster and isn't responsible for it getting lost, that's no reason to act like an arse about it.

So, he should've made sure the almighty postal service looked after your poster. Whats his feedback history like? Anyway, stick a red card on his forehead.

Nailed "oldcarmags" with a neg.
"No item and got stroppy mail when I chased it up. Dissapointed. Ok in past."
That's fair enough innit ? Item finished 27/10 so I left loads of time. Not really arsed but the guy has had my dosh (all £8.00)

Fair enough? The guy cheated you. 8 pounds or otherwise, it's money you could have spent on... stuff... or beer... or stuff.
You've pracically been nice to him.

That's unfortunately the problem with e-bay. All of the people deserving of negative feedback are almost assured of responding in kind. The idea is that if he does it long enough the negatives will become overwhelming while yours won't hurt you as long as you deal reputably, but in practice it never works like that.
I'd have submitted a complaint to e-bay itself, personally.
