A question about level 15

1
Hello all, I'm new here (in this forum)!

I just have one quickie question that has been bugging me for a while in the last level of Descent 3, and I have been unable to figure out a solution.

*Sorry for not having screenshots. My print screen button won't work. I have no idea why, but it never has with any game.*

Basically, if anyone is familiar with the last main level (level 15) called Dravis's Stronghold... there is one "secret" room in particular with a bunch of switches arranged in a circle. (I think there were 5 or six of them) and there is also a sort of "map" along the wall that shows the location of energy centers and robot mat centers. The switches themselves control certain mat cens, and it is possible to shut them off by hitting them in the right order.

However, there is also a forcefield in this room, which leads to an area with a mega missile (I think a Blackshark as well) and various other high-level weapons. What I was wondering is if anyone has figured out how to get past that forcefield. I've searched all over for a switch, but alas I have found no such switch to deactivate it. Nor have I found an alternate path to the room. :?

So does anyone know how to get those nifty weapons behind the forcefield? I would greatly appreciate any help.

Thanks! :)

The forcefield should deactivate if you enter the correct switch sequence to shut down all of the matcens. I believe there's more than one way to get all of the matcens shut down; you may have been using a sequence that doesn't trigger the event. (When it does go off, the Guide-bot will display a message saying that the armory is open, and you won't be able to change any of the switches anymore.) According to Moon's walkthrough, the correct sequence is, from left to right, 5-3-2-7-4.
A.K.A. Mongoose, for you HLP denizens

Thanks a bunch for the help. :)
I was guessing it was something else with the switches but I never did the trial-and error method to see all possible outcomes.
Shivan's aren't evil. They are just misunderstood.
