Faction ships

Are they worth even using?

I just got a succubus and it doesn't seem to be much of an improvement over the Punisher that i have been using as my complex frig. Nevermind the difficulty in replacing it.

They're toys for people who managed to get one. The faction battleships are alot better than the regular ones, though.

For PVE they are probably worth it, so long as you know what your doing. It's a pain to risk them in PVP unless you have 100% insurance (meaning that your wallet has an equal value of ISK already, so it won't hurt that much!).

It's pretty nifty. Can't say I like it Solo though. Can set it up like a duramaller tho...

I have a Daredevil (I build Daredevils, on occasion, so replacement's not an issue). It's a good frigate, much better then its nearest comparable non-faction, the Tristan. I don't really think of it as worth the 20-30mil it sells for, though...(And I sell them for 10 mil anyways. I don't need to charge people through the nose for it, it's not costing me a cent effectively.)

Daredevils are useless tacklers.. Unless your tackling a travelling restaurant the size of a outpost, that is.

how about tackling and holding a mwding macherial so that a bs can catch up? I'd call that pretty good.

Four midslots.. But slow. Yes, for belt hunting or such - its good. But for gate camping it's TOO slow. You need INSTANT negative 4 (7.5km) and web (10km) - Daredevil falls behind a few split seconds in that area.

nah... mwd, 2x 7.5's, sensor booster... obviously only applicable at gates in 0.0 or belts elsewhere, but that should enable it to hold them... or fit 4 -1 20km's and camp gates even better (with the spawn variation and whatnot
