Mass Ignored!

Over the years I've made quite a few friends over the Internet, some I have even met in real life. Many many people, some I know well, some I know very little about but still enjoy their company none the less. And as with real life, you make friends at new work places or college, and eventually you lose friends due to moving on with your life. You'll say things like "Hope to catch up soon!" but more often than not you never see them ever again - Not intentionally, although sometimes on bad terms! One thing that has plagued me over the years is unknowingly losing contact with friends (be it people on the Internet or real life). One day, everything is hunky-dory when suddenly you never hear from them again. How many people here have encountered this? I've lost contact with many people, some of them being my closest friends - Which hurts to the core. Some of them I wish I could find again. This is the plague of my life... And it has happened ever since I was a small child.
But ofcourse, it's not like I'm going to run out of friends.

Happened quite a lot to me after leaving uni; partly because I'll bung off the odd email now ant then to the people I knew, but without being able to actually say anything new or worthwhile.

I've gotten to the point where I try to avoid those people that I stopped talking to...
I kinda figure that there's a reason I stopped talking to them in the first place. >..>;
THough others have just dropped off the face of the earth, so yeah......

LoLs.
Well I've lost a few friends over the years, some I'll miss, and others not so much.
Just the way of things I guess. Tis always easy to meet and greet new people though so no real biggy.
Girls are another story altogether though...

I've no regrets about losing touch with people from school, as they were mainly a set of wankers anyway, and I've since made new and better friends. Such people who use ¬_¬ and >_< in lecture notes, for instance.

Haha. Hm with girls, I find that if you spend all your time engaging them, and they never engage you - Forget it. Waste of energy! Applies to both MSN and real life! Example scenario: Girl A never messages you, EVER, it's always you who does the opening words.

I'm glad I have but 5 school mates left, who are all girls. The rest are lads who I have met in the 5 or so weeks I've been in college. College society is so much better than that of School.

Agreed. College > school.
Uni isn't > college yet, but it could be.
