Now I dont know if this is entirely true, but I have gotten the same response from a number of people including a bunch of professors. Starting yesterday we have a week and a half break called "Fall Recess" but apparently it is scheduled this way because one of the hunting seasons has just started, does that strike anyone else as odd? Im not complaining, im glad weve got a break but for hunting?

Not odd at all. I've heard those kind of things all over. Hell, the main reason there's a summer recess was so that kids could help the family farm during the summer months.

Hunting is just another form of sustinance.

We have a 'swap back' week used for making up lectures etc on public holidays. It is also a handy break. As as soon as we come back its just exams. :s

Make sure you buy a replacement for your backwards-ass video card pronto!
