It's brilliant. Not as good as the surfer or the bendy man dancing to Perez Prado but still pretty damn cool

Guiness have always had consistantly brilliant adverts for over 20 years or so now though so another good one from them is hardly a surprise

That would probably never make it to air in america.
If dumbass people can prevent a commercial of a small boy driving a new corvette because they think it'll encourage underage driving, that right there would have a bunch of asshats in Kansas up in arms storming the local observatories.

It might make more sense if it were shown forward - come to think of it, that would be much more effective. All those years and then the "big payoff" at the end, if that was the point of the commercial. Running it backwards left me rather confused and wondering if the lungfish had anything to do with the Budweiser lizard.

There's a very good and obvious reason for it being shown backwards. i'm surprised you never cottoned onto that.
(also it'd be a fairly arty farty,boring advert if you reversed it and you would lose the humour)
