Sci-Fi Fridays

1
For the US viewers, or those who download it (cough). Well, I just had to start a thread about Stargate and BSG on Fridays, on Sci-Fi.... Why? Cause It rocks! Atlantis is still a bit touch and go IMO, BSG is looking fine as always (a few gripes, but it's made up for with some great scenes..) and SG-1... Well, at first I was beginning to question if Season 9 was really going to pull it off... But after the most recent episode "Beachhead", I'm finally excited again! That episode was just fun fun fun. And the music rocked! SG-1 hasn't used all that dramatic lord-of-the-rings style music for ages :D

Beachhead was awesome! I kept expecting the nuke to blow up when they were on the planet. And good ol' Vala saved the day :p.
Down with the Ori!!!!
Elton John, Richard Dean Andserson, Jack O'Neill, and MacGyver rock this world.

Sci-Fi Fridays are great!

Too bad they're in mid-season hiatus and no new episodes are coming till next January.

Any spacesim lovers would love the new Battlestar Galactica. The space action scenes are incredible!

The only sci-fi I used to watch on Fridays was Enterprise, until the bastards at Paramount killed it. :( Now, I'm all about Friday Night Fix on AdultSwim.com. (Woot for online Aqua Teen! :D) I saw one episode of BSG, and it looked pretty cool, but I don't think I'd be very well off trying to get into the series halfway through it.

 If you want some real action shows, stay up a bit later and watch some of the anime that Adult Swim carries. Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell: Stand-Alone Complex, Samurai Champloo, Paranoia Agent, Trigun, Big O, s-CRY-ed...the list just goes on and on. That's what I'm talking about :D Or, if comedy's more your thing, ATHF, Family Guy, Futurama, Robot Chicken, Stroker and Hoop, and Harvey Birdman also rule :)

Thanks for the tip, Hunter. I doubt I'll be downloading it any time soon, if ever (my school has become real hardasses about P2P stuff recently), but hopefully I'll at least get to borrow/rent the box sets someday.
