Has anyone tried the demo for DS2? That b#stard is 1445MB! I'm sure that it'll be great, but DAAAAAAAAAAUM!

I don't know what DS2 is, but that demo's bigger than most of the full games I own.

It's Dungeon Siege 2.
I DLed it and it's huge, I played for over 2 hours last night and the major difference, besides a massively upgraded engine and some tweeked game mechanics was the laser like focus on the story. Something that was missing from the first Dungeon Siege.

For a dreadful moment I though it was Derek Smart 2. Now with added coke can machine attacking power!

Gaspowered games. They are a growing company. I hope they do well with Supreme Commander aka Total Annihilation 2.
So how good is DS2?
I played through the first one once, but became innately bored with it afterwards.
I always love a good story though, maybe I'll grab the demo one day myself...

The demo is quite nice. And there is a laser Like focus on the story with lots of VO to keep you aware of what's going on.
