I just saw the episode where Lock nearly gets shot by selfish blonde b**ch #001 and the Iraqi dude is having his flash backs.

Maybe it was because I just had a few drinks of rum, and that I'd been slowly building up a dislike to american stuff on tv the past few weeks, but I snapped today during LOST.

I actually liked the show too, because Lock and the Iraqi dude were champions. The fake australian accents, fine, just another 'how hollywood (america?) views the world thing' still irritating though. (wankers... >.> )

The line was crossed though when I saw the CIA agent in AUSTRALIA acting as if they were in charge. I just flipped out, screaming "BULLSHIT!" at the screen. ASIO wouldn't have it, and I definitly don't ever think the aussie cop she was working with would act so whip dogged. What a load of crap!
Christ holywood / tv shows have been shitting me these days. Every where I look there is pro-america propaganda bull s###. It makes me physically sick.
Lost, amazing race (ha!), homeland security (ur fuking kidding me right!?), etc etc, other s### shows.
The only decent show thats available to me when I get back now-a-days is Blue Healers an aussie cop show. And that's still slightly below A grade...

I'm not trying to offend anyone, or say that I'm gonna conspire against the u.s. either. It's just that I've had my mouth full.

I blame for a significant part, the damn tv channels here too. Arrogant fucks they are to try and feed all this s### to me. I'm starting to follow some of mr canadian fellah "Sean Kennedy's" ideology's now too. (google him) Which shits me further, because he is such a dickhead, but is starting to make sense with some of his rants... >(

So yeah, f### you hollywood (or whoever the bastards are who make all this s###) and f### you channel 7, 9, and 10 for trying to feed it to me.


I get home late at night from uni, and just wanna unwind with a book, a tv show or some music. TV is fast becoming bs now days though. And I'm running out of books to read and music only goes so far, as I am mainly a visual person...

Sigh.

I find it unrealistic you can have so many different kinds of people on one flight who aren't just "ordinary" everday people.

Hell, at least you have your own programs on TV some of the time; those of us that actually live here have to put up with American shows all of the time. As a matter of fact, I'd consider Lost to be one of the few shows on TV right now that's worth watching (outside of Adult Swim, that is ). To be honest, I didn't even think twice about that part with the CIA agent, but I can easily see how it could upset people.

Heh. When at my girlfriends house I refuse to watch any of the kids channels like Trouble or Nick.. they're simply American teen comedy-dramas which are as funny as a f#####g street corner on a rainy day.

And I don't mean to sound racist, but Trouble seems like the only channel where everyone is a black American. It's like it's dedicated to them. Again, I stress I don't mean to sound racist. At the same time if you are a person who upholds 'politcal correctness' I'll shoot you.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only person who gets worked up about all the crap on TV.

I usually enjoy LOST as well, its just that the little naggy things kept building up and I snapped at that point.
