I was doing a complex with a friend i've met, just me and him, but it took almost 4 hours to do.

I almost died, not to an enemy cruiser, but a swarm of frigs that got inside my minimum range.

But from the fire, I come with a prize, even though i let my friend have all the loot save this one item, even some 9th tier overseer's personal effects.

I have a blueprint copy good for 1 Vigilant cruiser.

And i can't decide whether to keep it and build it(eventually), or sell it. I've been told that it's worth about 30 times what i have in my bank.

Sell it for as much as you can right now. Because once people start getting those things they'll be worth less and less.

dungeon, put it up for 120mil 30min before i left for work, and it had gone by the time i got to check about 3 hours later.

you mean the BPC drops aren't going to be rare?

Nope. Most officer spawns have a chance of dropping them.
