Where is everyone?
I haven't seen many people on lately...
Exams or something?

What Eve time do you usually get on?
When I was playing, most people from sector game would be on late at night, so I'd have to stay up between 2am - 7am to catch them. (I'm GMT+10)
Can't make up my mind if I'm going to get a MMORPG or which one.
I really like the idea of WoW or eve. WoW is slightly more appealing...

WoW doesnt have as much lasting value according to some friends who've played it, but I'm bound to stick by EVE.
Jeryko, we are *all* in UK I think now, so we won't be around late except weekends. And yes, there are lots of exams right now too... Don't worry, it'll be over soon
Should see you this weekend anyway

No exams for me for the next two weeks. Damn these one month modules.
If you want to do anything with me, my character's names are Tanthius and Farcaster.
Farcaster doesnt do much atm. Training up the learning skills first. Tanthius is who you'll probably find me on the most as.
I do missions fairly frequently. If you feel like doing some level 3s, give me a ring.

My neighbour has been playing WoW for over a year now and loves it.
I recently pointed him towards Eve, said he'd check it out.
Near the end of my trial I found I was getting over the 'new stuff euphorism' and starting to just get used to the game.
To me playing similar missions over and over again was starting to get boring. =/
I love the political and corporation aspect though. The mining expedition was great fun for example. Even though I was just in the Rusty badger.
Just seems like a lack of exploration after that first 2 weeks though. Few new challenges besides the obvious higher level ones I never got around too.
WoW seems more appealing because there seems to be more player interaction in the world. Landscapes are slightly more interesting than space as well. I also like the idea of building your own character and his appearance.
I'm torn between the two though. I can see that Eve has long run potential. WoW has slightly more interesting story and background though, as well as the on foot interaction.
Maybe one day I'll just get both.

I'll probably end up paying for Eve soon. It's only $20 to continue with my trial account whereas Blizzards stubborness requires $80 up front.
Eve is cheaper in the long run too. It's a dollar cheaper for the more than 1 month packages.
I actually went to pay for it just now but the site is in maintenance. =/
I'll probably start a new character and go solo for a while.
With a better understanding of the stats I think Memory and Intelligence will be priorities.

I'm playing again now and have started a new character called 'Grugg'.
I'm working on missions and training atm but will probably drop SG within a week or so.
