Saw some pretty bad storm damage on the news over in Perth.
IIRC Black Wolf resides over there. Wonder if he's alright...

Wow...those were some nasty winds; they got up to hurricane-force. Hope he's all right.

Yeah I'm all good. Got pretty crazy though. There were trees down all over the place, and a few buildings got pretty banged up (mostly roofs off, but apparently there were some places that were complete write offs). I didn;t get any sleep the night of the stors because the rain and wind was too loud.
Still, it's gone a long way towards making up for a very dry spell - it's done a lot of good for the dams, and the rain made it a fair way inland , so the farmers got some. If we get a few more like that in the coming months, the rivers'll get up and we'll have a decent Avon Descent (It's a white water kayak race that starts in my home town, so I'm kind of partial to it

)

Glad to hear all is well BW

Yup, seems that Australia has actually been a bit overdue for this, which is probably why it hit so hard when it did

And you didn't get any pics for me to see, very sad.

Good to hear things are all right.

Some of the places they showed on the news looked pretty devastated.
It's mainly cold over here in Brisbane. But we had a fair bit of just rain last couple of weeks. Not much gets past the mountain ranges though. So the farmers arn't really getting any rain at all.

There's been a good soaking rain this side of the island too recently.
Too bad none of it was in the Warragamba dam catchment area.
Rain, rain, go away, go out west and stay that way....
