How to hide a forum using PHPBB

Well, how do you make a hidden forum and set the permissions? Someone I know is asking and I haven't got a clue.

Admin Panel -> Permissions -> Select Forum name... Then you have a whole set of options for posting rights, viewing rights, etc.

And whether you're in simple mode or advanced mode, you can change its visibility to different usertypes.
