Humans are part of nature, yes. But that doesn't mean we should have free reign to run roughshod over everything on the planet. It's going to come back and bite humanity if we don't start acting like responsible parts of the natural world.

Dinosaurs, Trilobytes and Mammoths were also part of nature, until nature decided it wasn't going to be compatible with them any more. It's something we should bear in mind ;)

Amazing.. all this from a spider training for a marathon ;)

A person a few rooms down from mine brought a box of clothes to school that she had shipped from California to her grandparents' house in Delaware. When she opened it, about 50 or so yellowish translucent spiders wandered out. These same spiders seem to have taken up a permanent residence in our dorm. Creepy little bastards. :P
