Not sure exactly, it's with a local computer store, and since I don't have my A+ yet, that leaves sales of some kind.

Just got back.
It was encouraging, he actually seemed more interested in my level of competency as opposed to why I haven't been employed the last 4 years.
He said he would call me this afternoon one way or the other.
The one caveat is that I have to become a licensed HAM radio operator in the first 6 months of my employment because they sell radio equipment in addition to computer stuff.

From what I've heard, ham radios are pretty cool to fool around with. Good luck with that job.

Actually, I'm on the verge of calling him to check in, is that a good idea? I mean he said he'd call me sometime this afternoon one way or the other.

Yes. Calling him will show that you are indeed interested in the position. If you didn't call, it would seem as if you weren't interested. Trust me, I've gotten a few jobs by persistence.

I called, but it was already after 4:00p. Pretty short day since they don't open til 10:00a
