LOL I found out a little more about him actually...

His name was Jonas Dibble, a good solid Shaker name, he was the Carpenter on the Sloop Peacock of a US Naval Expedition in 1838. I already knew my family had Shaker backgrounds, so it's not surprising he's a carpenter. He, apparently was on watch when it was found
