Hey, Hunter (or anyone who knows what they're doing, for that matter), do you know anything about how to make Vasudan speech? Preferrably both components, but at least the translated version.

You need to use Goldwave for a start. And,er, do some stuff in there.

I'll warn you about goldwave, you will start messing with your favorite songs and forget about Freespace. Allthough it is funny hearing them sing like angry chipmonks.

I've got Audacity, I just grabbed Goldwave for the Mechanize function. I don't really mess with my favorite songs much.

if you look at most mods, all vasudan speech is the same, just sped up or slowed down. if u wanna cut corners, the inferno mod has plenty of Vas-Talk, and i think ur allowed to use it

Just use clips from the vasudan wave in the fred walkthrough. Cut words here and there, and alter the orderring of the grunts. For the terran part, just speak monotone over it, and filter it to sound less like yourself.

i happen to have this cool voice morpher thing (in real life) and it sounds very much like a vasudan. you can change the pitch, too, so with that and a sample of vasudan speech, i can make cool stuff
