Please post whatever level of education your currently in, compared to Britsh systems, or just posting age and relative difficulty of the programme, just for fun and games.
I'm 16, and doing Dutch VWO5 (N+T, with Latin, Biology, Comp Sci and IB for those who know Dutch systems.) It's the highest secondary education you can get, and I'm in the fifth year out of 6. The final diploma ought to be A level comparable, but we get more subjects then the Brits, IIRC. My subjects are:
Math B 1 (The B means focusing on the more, err, scientific math, so less probability or economic, more vectors and 3D space.)
Math B 2 (The 2 meaning more proving stuff, less learning by heart.)
Physics 1
Physics 2
Chem 1
Chem 2
English
Dutch (Native Language)
ANW/General Sciences. (Better name would be scientific ethics.) (Not voluntary, mind.)
KCV/Classical art history. (Not voluntary, mind.)
PE (once again, no way to dodge it.)
Now, all of the above is normal for the 'profile' I chose, and part of one big package. I needed one extra subject, but I already got it because I did Biology 1 last year. Here's what I'm taking voluntarely:
Biology 2 (Finished 1 last year)
Latin
Comp Sci
International Baccelaureate Langauge A2 (English)
The entire shebang gives me 36 hours, but since my school only teaches most classes once or twice (I mean that there are only one or 2 groups following the classes in the roster) I only get to do 32 of them. Most people are doing 25 hours. Chem 2 isn't even on the roster yet, I'll get that next year......
I intend to do chemistry at the Groningen university, and to see if I can get into some exchange programme. Any good uni's to look at in a few years?

First year uni, though that officially finishes when I do my final exam in 6 days.
This semester I did
Geology 102 (Second unit in a basic geological overview)
Geology Data Analysis 114 (Exactly what it says)
Chemistry 128 (Slightly more advanced than year 12 TEE Chem)
Environmental Awareness 102 (Basic Ecology)
Communications Skills 116 (Gay)
Next semester
Flowering Plants 201
Invertebrate Animals 201
Geology 205 - Sedimentology
Geology 207 - Structural Geology
Geology 201 - Mineralogy
Doing a total of 21 hours.

Third semester university student (history major), but I've got 52 hours as of this moment (lots and lots AP credit/credit by exemption). Basically, I'm 27 hours 'ahead' of where i should be.
I'll be at 67 hours after this semester is over. I'm taking French 1001, History 2302 (Methodology, basically, the skills of being a historian), Astronomy, Comparative Politics, and Physical Geography.

I'm in my third year college. Currently, I have 3 elective classes and one required class, because I have 61 credit hours already fulfilled, and I need the 3 more in English for my Associates degree.
Once that's done, I intend to transfer to another college and try to attain a BS in Electrical Engineering. But the college I want to go to is actually 'full' for next semester.
I don't know what I'm going to do...

College freshman. This semester, I'm taking Physics 207 (basic mechanics and kinematics), Math 242 (series, advanced integration, parametric/polar equations, etc.), History 103 (world history I), a Latin class, and an Honors colloquium called "Tragedy and the Human Soul" that involves work on Sophocles' Antigone and Oedipus Rex and Shakespeare's Hamlet. My college (University of Delaware--Go Blue Hens!
) offers a winter session, and I'm going to be taking Math 243 over that.

I'm homeschooled too. About 10th grade average in subjects.
3 hours/day of advanced math (precalculus with advanced geometry, physics, and chemistry math mixed in)
1-2 hours/day of history, reading on average a portion of 6 books per week, as well as having to read over 36 "fun" books as literature study before the end of the year
Computer classes (frontpage, excel, word, windows, A+ exam, C++, Visual Basic, Java, HTML)
Robotics (ya know, you can do pretty much anything with PVC, plywood, string, and a good set of electronics. Oh yeah, don't forget the duct tape too!)
Grammar
Spanish
Vocabulary (dang that stuff is easy)
Pretty fun set of courses, overall. Intense, but I learn a lot.

I've built robots too, but I had to do it in spite of school... not during it.

That seems kinda... I dunno, unusual. No biol, no social sciences, no practical chemistry... very different to what we did in year 10.Stryker wrote:I'm homeschooled too. About 10th grade average in subjects.
