Image editting question

Pardon my ignorance on the subject, since I rarely use the special features of Photoshop 7, but what is the easiest way to interlace an image? I like the look of interlacing for some images, but the only thing I've seen even remotely similar is de-interlace. This isn't anything urgent, mind you, I'm just curious.

IIRC, go to Effects -> Texture Effects -> Blinds. Do it on a layer above the rest. You can set the properties of the Interlace there.

i asked VA to do that for me, cuz i have a lowly PSP 4 :(

he did the blinds on my signature pic :D

i did the ones on my avatar, though.

Hmmm, I don't have the blinds texture? Could somebody possibly point me in the right direction? I have Photoshop 7.

Oh right. For some reason when I read Photoshop 7 I saw Paint Shop Pro 7. :P

You mean it's not in PS? Meh... I stopped using PSP 3 years ago...
