Umm, you're treatment facility is offline or operating at a reduced capacity? This might be a good time for you to go buy a secondary filtration system, like a Brita pitcher(backup plan) or an undersink model(better idea).

Only very slightly (like, two drinks all night) - the grammar was more because I was tired. And, err.... that doesn;t explain the taste of the wter - it seems to have fixed itself now though thankfully.
