Fractux's server is at
www.smoothkruger.ca:6969
Username: freespacer
Password: 1234
Can't remember Molish's off the top of my head though. If that one doesn't work I might have the address for it in my FTP programs history.

Speaking from experience, fully functional VPs don't do you much good, though, since you still have non-functional .WAV, .ANI, and .MVE files.

If you get all the VPs you'll have everything except the cutscenes. All the sound and anis will be there.

I have all the VPs, but I have no sound and no anis save the default CB ani. The WAV files for the sounds and the other CB/intel anis just don't work. Might have something to do with their being cheap 0kb placeholders...
Perhaps I'm missing something?

You have to delete the placeholders once you have all the vp files. FS2 considers something in \freespace2\data higher priority than anything in a vp in \freespace2
The best thing to do is to simply make a new data folder and copy your pilots across to it.

Ahhh...thank you, karajorma.
w00t! Music plays, I don't have to use WinAmp anymore and pretend it's the right music.

Okay so the avis are the ftp but how do you convert them to MVE format so they will work with the game.

You don't - the avis are designed to work with FSOpen.

Oh so I just download the avis and put them in the main freespace directory. Then FSOpen will take care of the rest right?
