WANTED: Vasudan Turret Models

I'd like to put a nice turret on the Sobek. Unfortunately, I can't seem to model what I have pictured in my head... I was originally going to steal the turrets off the Edjo, but they look too funny. Anyone have any they might be willing to share?
And I don't care who says what about these, because whichever I use I'm using, regardless of what anyone says.

I would've said, use the original barrel part of your previous turret, but with a shorter, support arm that connects onto both sides of the turret, Kind of like a twin-telescope with a rotating base and then have the arms connect onto it from either side, halfway up each barrel. Be sure that they take up only a little more space than the original boxy turrets. I agree that it should be UVed instead of tiled.
What do ya think?

Right, arms and base are both modeled and UVed, and the arms are textured. Should be finished by tomorrow

Wow. Thank's VA
Triv: I dunno. I may keep one of my originals, or alter it that way, maybe for the bottom rear turret. I dunno yet.

Ok: How's this?
http://www.sectorfiles.com/ti-file-dump ... Turret.zip
328 polys, which is a little heavy (exactly 164 polys on arms and base oddly enough), but each bit uses only one easy to shrink map each, so people having performance issues can easily improve it (tho the impact should be negligible).
The actual file has a column underneath the base so that the turret model won't look detached or sunken into the hull on the top ridge anymore.
If you have any issues with it, want some changes made, just ask. If someone else wants to improve it in any way: go ahead.

He models in Blender and uses TS for other stuff... I've tried to convert him, but the poor heathen continually refuses. :sigh:
