Well, I just got word that an old friend of mine, who is 3 years younger than me has died in a car accident whilst working in Portugal. The memorial service is on Friday. I was at his wedding 14 months ago.

Thanks guys
I've known his wife for even longer than I've known him, it's her I feel most sorry for, they had only been married a little while and were trying unsucessfully for a child. In fact, just to put the biter on it, she had a miscarraige only a couple of months ago

Poor girl must be going through hell.

Well, the funeral was today. The church was packed, which was nice. There were a good few memorials to Phil, most of which referred to his lack of hair at 28 years old.
The coffin was marched out of the Church to the tune of 'Another one Bites the Dust'. Which Phil would have found hilarious
Still, feeling somewhat bitter today, so excuse me if I'm blunt anywhere
Edit : I also wrote 'Godspeed, Pilot' in the memorial book

Sounds like a really great guy.
Personally I plan to go out to "Fat Bottomed Girls"
