GTBs Parthenon...

alrighty, ive been working on this for some odd weeks (6-8), so id figure id start getting some feedback on what people think of it.
however, unless somebody points out a change that i would like to do, im not going to be altering the ship much, if at all. this is kinda my 'personal' ship, so it will probably directly reflect me and my tastes.
first off, lemme tell you what it is:
< : : THIS BRIEF IS CLASSIFIED LEVEL RHO : : >
during the second shivan incursion, the hecate command ship/destroyer performed admirably in any task set to it. afterwards, when hecate-classes were unweildy to deploy and a huge monetary loss if destroyed, the GTVA decided to finish work on the Parthenon-class prototype.
the GTBs Parthenon was a completely new look at shipbuilding; instead of the smaller, specifically designed corvettes and cruisers in widespread use all over the GTVA, this ship would be one that would usually remain stationary, but its extremely strong CCC capabilities gave it a communication range of several dozens of systems' jumps away, using a special-designed subspace amplification device which could transmit directly through subspace channels into conventional comm units.
the Parthenon had been under construction for over 30 years, since the first sighting at ross 128. although slightly smaller than the colossus, a single parthenon could easily demolish an entire battlegroup, though only on the defensive. it was well equipped for short range combat, especially anti-fighter, but on the offensive (except as a command ship/carrier) it was near useless. with nearly 18-meter-thick armor, it is about imperviouis to any attack, unless its inherant design flaws are exploited.
the Parthenon was to be a new 'battleship' class. a battleship, while most pilots disagree, is quite different from a destroyer; battleships are completely self-sustaining. they are equipped with ore smelters, mining craft, several squadrons of fighters, and gas mining devices. the parthenon is literally a city in space.
i will get some pictures soon (soon = a week or less, but probably less) being as its still a WIP.
so far, anyone want to babble about it? (and i know its cheesey, but not entirely unfeasable.)
