This is gonna sound dumb(or maybe not) but where does Firefox store it's bookmarked sites?

Nope, I looked in every subfolder. 
I'll ask over at the Mozilla forums and find out so we can all know where to get them for backups.

Okay, best as I can figure out, they are all kept in the bookmarks.html in the profile folder. By default located at:
C:/Documents and Settings/"insertyourusernamehere"/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/default.rl1/
in Windows XP. I'll post where it is in 98se sometime on Tuesday or Wednesday.
This is also where all your stored passwords and any form information you have saved is stored.
It's a hidden folder so you may have to unhide files/folders to find it.

Wow... My passwords in the list look weird... Its not even a number/letter replacement system either... its like, 8 bit...
