Well, metaphorically, in regards to working on Hyperspace (or NOT working)

Welcome aboard, good to see a new face
Besides, anyone who can give Hunter a run for their money on Descent is a friend of mine

Actually Digi if your playing FS2 I recommend you play FS1 aswell, it's a little older and dodgy, but the missions and story are far better than FS2. Don't get me wrong, FS2 has great missions and action, but FS1 wins over just for the whole fact of some of those missions are INSANE. And the cutscenes make up about 50% of the enjoyment. FS1 has better atmosphere, I suppose you could say

ya. FS2 just felt kinda... incomplete. oh well, its still awesome.
or, you could just d/l the FS->FS2 port. its not as good as the origonal, but still, its easier than trying to find FS.
hmm... your the same digijo who made Metropolis-GT?
and just to warn you, i tend to rant about how great FS2 is

so i would just ignore it. i try not to though
BTW:
LOL, i just finished a model for a shivan battlecruiser (no, BW, its not the Sicalith. its something else) and guess what the polycount is? 666!!

LOL

Digi is on 56k. Besides, the Port is nice.. It just doesn't really seem the same.

ah. much is now explained.
i know, but the port just lacks the authenticity of FS1. i dont know why.. maybe im just crazy...

Maybe it's those nebulas.. the nebulas in the port are badly done. But I guess FS1 just seems "better" because it has that atmosphere, and special place in your heart (mine anyway.. I played it on release, whereas some players played FS2 then FS1, so they don't get that buzz

).

no, i played FS1 first as well. it also has a special place in my heart. not even freelancer has wrenched it away from its post as best-game-ever.
and the music, FS1s music helped alot. especially 'breifing #1'. that was SO cool!

FS1's gameplay is different. Ships move slower, and things like that. Plus there's more of a feel of desparation when the Shivans arrive in FS1, since we are horribly outnumbered and outgunned, whereas in FS2, we've managed to mimic their technology in less than 30 years...
