I had to backup and format again this morning.

What do you use for backups?

CD/Rs

I could still use everything, but the Net had completely stopped working for no good reason. Rather than try and find a solution, I just formatted.

I need to invest in some CDRWs so I can "update" my backups.

Petrarch: Wasn't your music collection like 10 gigs?

I needed a gift for someone I knew, so I just burned my entire collection onto 8 CD's. The bloody Harry Potter 5 Audio Book was 680 megs on it's own.

She's happy with the music, though.

Speaking of audiobooks, in case I would want a free version, where should I look?

Nah, it's 1.8 at the moment.
Was about 1.5 at the time.

Briliant!

Though, knowing my friends, they'd be like, "Who the hell is Bad Religion, and when did you start being religous"...

Well, when I turned on Dropkick Murphy's, one girl started to sing along, but the rest of the party went totallly WTF.

Fun thing was, I had to jury rig a stereo from a pari of computer speakers (the cheapass kind), and my MP3 discman. It sounded quite good, actually.

Graham: 1.8 gigs? Slacker, that's the size of my "favourite" colletion alone. (The one I keep a copy of on the laptop, for empty hours in school). My true collection is 10 GB exactly, right now. Not counting the stuff not sorted in the DC dir, that's 3GB.

13 GB.

s###, I need a bigger HD.

Mind, most of that isn't truly mine. A lot of people from my class downloaden on my PC, since I was one of the few with broadband and a CD burner back then. And the only one stupid enough to take requests.
