FSCZ needs some testers, BIG TIME... We have 1 confirmed, and 2 more that are getting access, but might not know they've been approved yet... Idealy, we need at least 5 people to be active participants... I don't care if you've been around since the VBB was first opened, of if you just picked up FreeSpace from ebay yesterday. The only thing you NEED to be able to do, is run FSO, have a decent connection... (56k is out, just because with the lag, it makes it impossible... we could still use 56kers though, just not as a tester (like me))... And lastly, you have to be willing to play... Shouldn't be too hard. So fall in, and get yourselves down the the FSCZ forum ASAP!

no, i know why it messes up now. FS2 does NOT like routers, and neither do most games, it seems. im through a router now.
oh, BTW, to those who care, i got my other computer fixed and running

i left the BIOSing to my uncle, but other than that, i did it all
i dont know how ill fix the problem, but i know what it is.

Well, Singh made templates to use for each system, so there'll be no new fredding till after testing... You're welcome to test, and then once testing is over, join the management as a... manager... (Need to find a new name)... I sent hunter some 6 or 7 messages over ICQ yesterday, and i don't think he's seen them, since nothing has changed yet... Till he tinkers with some stuff, I won't be able to give out access to the test forum... So I have to wait a bit before i can get things moving... Hopefully not too long... *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge*

Get SpyBot, it's free and is a bit better at protecting against adware in my opinion

ill probably get that, thx. the one we have keeps asking me to buy the full version. basicly, wihout the full version, it will perform a checkup on your system, but will make no effort to stop adware in the first place!

Though what is up with the Arcadia in that first picture? You may have your detail settings way to low, looks like its using a wrong LOD...

I Suspect his fighter is ridiculously far away in that shot, and that he zoomed out towards the Arcadia using alt-pause. You may want to point to that image and suggest the SCP people put in a few lies of code that tell all models to jump up to Lod0 when Alt-Pause is pressed.

Urrr...SCP has a slight bug for me; if it loads all stuff at the lowest levels, even if you set them back high, it wont actually set it up till the next mission.
Im actually zoomed out from the Hap (its in the center of the screen) in an effort to get a nice angle on the entire thing
