But why not keep it for a little while then ?
Because I've spent about £1000 in repairs/service in the last 8 months or so, the tax expires in October, and I don't want to spend any more time worrying about the bloody thing.

Clutch can be bought for £60, incidentally - I'm not sure what the £190 else is for. The work done and other parts, probably.

Cooking spec so none of the go-faster stuff but it looks immaculate and would be awesome as a basis for an on-going upgrade project. Has been for sale for ages so should get it down to circa £600. Would involve lots of work though.

Just to really make you fellas laugh, I've been offered this:

(in white, though)

Obviously not the sports coupe I was angling for (in my dreams), but pretty good performance for the price.

I just look at this thread and wondered where Roanoke went. Then I looked at the first page, and wondered when CamInHead got here.

might see if I can view in the next few days.
I have a feeling this might be back on and I really quite fancy it (again).

48000 miles for a 23 year old car? Surely there's a digit missing there.........
If it is the same car it was off the road for about 10 years. I asked last time round.
