See, because the show is completely different in tone and portrayal of the people involved from SG-1, because they jumped on the humanity is an asshat bandwagon that later-season BSG picked up.Matthew wrote:Why's that ngtm1r? As long as you're open-minded and not expecting an SG-1 clone you're fine.

That's what I figured.Hunter wrote:SGU doesn't make any sense if you have seen earlier Stargates but not the 'whole' series.
Oh well, I only have about half a season to watch in order to be up to date with SG1.

Well, you can find a fair bit on youTube if you don't mind the lower quality stuff, other than that, there's a TV Channel in the UK which plays a lot of Star Trek stuff, including Voyager, but I can't remember its name

Yes, Virgin 1 are showing Voyager, DS9 and TNG. Voager each night, I think TNG & DS9 during the day, then repeating the lot over the weekend.Flipside wrote:That's probably it, I was watching it in Glasgow over the new year, but never made a note of the channel
They're also showing The Outer Limits and X-Files but keep moving them about making it hard to pin them down.
My cheapo FreeView box can only get about 6 channels but I only watch Dave and Virgin1 anyway.
I just saw a cool scene. Voyager get's hit by a species 8417(or whatever) projectile, goes into an X and Y axis spin but engages warp to escape mid-spin, complete with variable nacelle AWESOME.
