Except that I've actually proved that either the Actium and Lysander or the Aquitaine must have been detached from their fleets at some point which means that I'm right on the whole detached ships point which got us into this discussion in the first place.

The debriefing for "Surrender, Belisaurius", and the mission briefing, as opposed to the first CB.
The mission doesn't mention 3rd fleet except to say that the Aquitane is it's flagship. The only other comment is to mention that they may have to pull the fleet from Deneb but no where does that say that they specifically mean 3rd Fleet. Are you trying to tell me that the only terran ships that could have been present in Deneb must have been from 3rd fleet?

I don't buy that explaination. In the briefing Petrach does give a wider view of the situation, mentioning several ships that have been lost in recent battles etc. And yet he doesn't mention that an entire fleet is coming rather than a single ship?
As I said before the fact that Petrach mentions the Aquitaine and Psamtik by name as being decisive rather than mentioning fleets seems to point to them arriving on their own (Although the Psamtik is most likely joining up with the rest of its battlegroup which is already present).

There's something on the first page mentioned by Singh about the collossus that was destroyed being a decoy that doesnt fit. If said collossus was actually a fake, then how do you explain the destruction of the ravana class destroyer that jumped in and was destroyed by the collossus prior to the arival of the shivan jugernaut?

More importantly, if they could build something that easily/quickly and which could destroy a Ravana......why not have more?

It's probably obscenely expensive, and was only used because of the desperate situation.

Because then 20 years of work would get destroyed by one of the 80 marauding Sathanes.
