Not really what you'd call the masters of the air. They actually have a pretty primitive wing system compared with things like beetles or hymenopterans (Wasps, Bees, ants etc.).

Scared the crap outta me. And why the hell do spiders leg it straight at you if they're 'sposed to be so scared huh ?
I remember seeing one of those in the back garden, big bugger (body about the size of a pinky) with huge legs. I lobbed a brick at it, squashed one half.... except it didn't die, and instead rushed straight at me. Leaving a big blood trail (well, big for a spider; and of red blood). You could see little entrails hanging out the side and everything.

Freaky-deaky.

And that thing was, of course, tiny compared to yer big tarantulas with proper thick legs and everything.

It's unlucky to kill harmless spiders :P *You be banished from the computer by a strange, power surge causing your CPU to overheat!*

Considering that dragonflies eat other insects that they catch in mid air including mosquitoes, midges and even butterflies and moths I'd say they're pretty agile :)
Add to that the fact that there is species around with a wingspan of nearly 20cm and I'd say that gives them the right to that title. :D

Yup. Adam didn't die, that proves it . Jamie needs to put his life on the line more often. Although, it's way funnier when Adam gets hurt .
