ok, just woke up. its been 12 hours since i banged my head on the computer desk after seeing that evil smiley. honestly tho, i still need more petition... people... anyways would it be worth posting this at HLP or would i just get more abuse?
oh and pleeeeeaaaaase dont summon DS. i tried to draw one of those pentagrams to kick him out of GS and well it wasnt pretty

I would, and I mean this as the most honest form of advice, NOT post, mention, hint or, if possible, even think the phrase 'Freespace 3' in HLP, it would only set the wolves howling again, and the thread would end up locked.

And yes, I know what you mean about DS, I had chalk, candle wax and pig entrails turning up for weeks

Yep, Triple Ace opened a thread in the Freespace section there about an old online FS3 poll. It's been taking quite a battering, and will probably end up locked as soon as an admin sees it

its weird how ppl can get so uptight about a game that never happened. i mean im pissed off about it too but i wouldnt go so far as to flame ppl

Thing is, particuarly for the people that have been there for a while, there are two reasons why they do.

1 : They've heard it so many times before.
2 : They're a little bit afraid that the actual FS3 will never ever be the game they dreamed of, and would rather live with the memory of what it should be rather than what it is which will be a dissapointment no matter what.

freespace should stay dead, but an FS3 couldnt hurt badly. not me anyway. then again, im an emotionless, heartless, sadistic wreck who couldnt care less if my entire family died

nobody in their right mind would revela everything about the shivans. i doubt even smart would.

I'm not sure Derek Smart can spell Shivan, even though his attitude is a good match for theirs.

freespace2pilot, keep in mind that this is hardly the first flamewar some of us have gotten dragged into. I personally don't want it brought up because I don't like watching my computer explode in crackling flames... sets off the damn fire alarm.

if there was a fs3, which if anyone remembers was the point of this post, everyone would buy & play it i think, even if it was bad. o i looked over at hlp, and there was this massive post about fs3, and no flames in sight. wtf?
